Our Company
We are a new company, formed as a result of two friends wanting to help each other. Lorne has been wanting to start his
own home based business, but didn't know what type of business to form. Kristina has always enjoyed doing a wide variety of
crafty items, but never knew where to sell what she makes. When Kristina was diagnosed with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome in November
2008, she started doing a lot of thinking, and that was when she came up with the idea to concentrate on her jewelry and try
to sell what she made. As a result of talking with Lorne, she then came up with the idea of starting up a business together,
and KC Handicrafts was born.
Lorne and Kristina now work in a partnership, basing their business out of their offices in Lorne's home. Both Lorne
and Kristina make the jewelry that is featured on this website, and truely enjoy working together.
